«Όσον αφορά την Ουκρανία, η προτεραιότητά μας τώρα είναι να κάνουμε πραγματικά δημόσια βήματα αποκλιμάκωσης της έντασης και της βίας. Το πρώτο βήμα, από την ρωσική πλευρά, είναι να μην αναγνωρίσει το αποκαλούμενο δημοψήφισμα. Το δεύτερο βήμα είναι η πραγματική συμμετοχή των ανατολικών περιοχών της Ουκρανίας στις προεδρικές εκλογές. Το τρίτο βήμα είναι η απόσυρση των στρατιωτικών δυνάμεων από τα σύνορα.
Επίσης, από την πλευρά του Κιέβου, χρειάζεται μία πραγματικά συμπεριληπτική διαδικασία διαλόγου με τις ανατολικές περιοχές της χώρας. Αυτό είναι κάτι πολύ σημαντικό, προκειμένου να διαμορφωθεί μία νέα και βιώσιμη κατάσταση στην Ουκρανία, πάντα υπό την αρχή του σεβασμού της εδαφικής ακεραιότητας και της κυριαρχίας της χώρας».

ReplyDeleteThe crisis in Ukraine is high on the agenda of the Foreign Affairs Council (FAC), starting at 9.30 (CET) on Monday 12 May in Brussels, chaired by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Catherine Ashton. Ministers will be taking stock of ongoing work and are expected to adopt conclusions.
The Council will then turn to the state of play in the Middle East peace process, while, over lunch, there will be an exchange of views on the EU's neighbourhood policy with countries in both eastern and southern Europe.
A press conference will take place at end of the meeting (+/- 16.00 CET).
The EU-Albania Stabilisation and Association Council will start at 17.00 (CET) on Monday, chaired by the Greek Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Evangelos Venizelos, who will also be chairing the EU-Algeria Association Council, taking place on Tuesday 13 May, at 9.00 (CET).

Ukraine : l’UE ajoute 13 personnes et deux entreprises à sa liste de sanctions...
ReplyDeleteFace à l’enlisement des négociations pour désamorcer la crise en Ukraine, l’Union européenne a décidé, lundi, d’élargir sa liste de sanctions ciblées. Treize personnes et deux entreprises supplémentaires sont désormais concernées.
L’Union européenne a annoncé lundi sa décision d’élargir sa liste des sanctions ciblées au lendemain de la tenue de référendums d'indépendance à l'est de l’Ukraine, a annoncé le Conseil.
Treize noms de personnalités russes ou pro-russes ont été ajoutées à la liste des 48 personnes déjà visées par une interdiction de visas et un gel de leurs avoirs. Deux entreprises ayant tiré profit de l'annexion de la Crimée par la Russie sont également visées, a-t-on précisé de sources diplomatiques.
Les noms des personnes et des entreprises concernées n’ont, pour l’heure, pas été dévoilés, mais les deux entreprises visées sont des sociétés criméennes confisquées après l'annexion de la péninsule ukrainienne en mars.
Vers une phase 3 des sanctions ?
