Syrian Foreign Ministry calls US-led coalition’s bombings criminal aggression

The bombing of the Air Force of the US-led international coalition in Syria is a criminal aggression against the Syrian people, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in official letters sent on Monday to the UN Secretary-General and the Chairman of the UN Security Council.

The bombings of the so-called international coalition led by the United States of the Syrian territory and the country’s infrastructure in many areas are criminal aggression, the ministry’s document says. 

This aggression, the letters say, is aimed at destruction of the country’s economic and industrial infrastructure, it’s intentional destruction of the basis of subsistence of all the Syrian people.
