A Houthis naval base in the Red Sea port city of Hodeidah has come under an aerial attack, Al Arabiya television reported, citing local sources.
Sounds of explosions in Hodeidah were also reported by the Sky News Arabia and Al Mayadeen television channels. According to Sky News Arabia, the strike targeted the area from where the Houthis had fired a missile toward the Red Sea earlier on Saturday.
Following the reported strikes in Yemen, a US defense official told Al Arabiya English, “This was not a US military strike.”
