Putin: what and how will the Russian Federation and the DPRK do - internal business of Moscow and Pyongyang

Concrete steps to implement the Russian-North Korean strategic partnership agreement are a bilateral matter for Moscow and Pyongyang. This was announced by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.

At press conferences following the BRICS summit in Kazan, he commented on reports of the alleged transfer of North Korean troops to the territory of Russia.

"As you know, ... our strategic partnership agreement has been ratified. There is Article No. 4, and we have never doubted that the North Korean leadership takes our agreements seriously. But what and how we will do it is already our business, in within the framework of this article," Putin said.

According to him, first of all, it is necessary to hold appropriate negotiations on the implementation of Article No. 4.

"But we are in contact with our North Korean friends and we will see how this process develops," the Russian leader emphasized.

I'm talking about the photos of North Korean troops in the Russian Federation distributed in the media, Putin said that "photos are a serious thing".

"If there are pictures, then they reflect something," the president noted.

  1. Military units from North Korea have left their Russian training grounds and entered the zone of combat between Russian and Ukraine forces for the first time, the military defense intelligence service of Ukraine (HUR) said in a Thursday evening statement.

Ukrainian spies recorded the troops in Russia’s Kursk region on Wednesday, HUR said.

North Korean (DPRK) soldiers are being trained at five military sites in the far east of Russia, and will have to pass a training course lasting several weeks before being deployed in the war against Ukraine, HUR said. The United States confirmed Wednesday that thousands of North Koreans are training in Russia alongside Kremlin troops.
