At least three people have been killed in a Russian missile attack on a residential apartment block in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv, one of the largest attacks on the city’s civilian infrastructure since the start of Russia’s spop last year, officials said.
“Three people have been killed,” Lviv’s Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said on his Telegram channel on Thursday morning.
Several explosions were heard in Ukraine’s city of Lvov and in the Ternopol Region, the TSN television channel said on Thursday.
According to the television channel, the local authorities explain the blasts by the operation of air defense systems.
Earlier in the day, air raid warnings were issued in all of the Ukrainian regions.
